Albufera rice is a cross between Bomba and Senia varieties. The result of this crossing is a variety of round grain rice, which absorbs flavors very well and supports cooking very well. It's a rice with D.O. Rice of Valencia.


It is characterized because once cooked it is revealed as an extraordinarily creamy rice while maintaining a firm texture. On the surface it remains very humid while the grain remains consistent. Once removed from the fire, the grain does not evolve, keeping its organoleptic qualities intact.
